Wedding & Event Favors…

The final touch for any beautiful tablescape is custom-labeled wedding jam favors

Our popular "Nautical" label.

from The Jam and Jelly Lady!  We can print your personalized labels quickly, using special effects such as pictures, fonts, and graphics.  Your wedding labels are then applied to one of our delicious jam flavors.

The beautiful custom wedding favors shown here demonstrate the bride’s taste in format, color, and font selection. Here are what our brides have to say about their custom jam wedding favors:

“The boxes arrived safely yesterday! I was able to pick them up last night as well, and the first thing we did when getting back home was rip those boxes open! We absolutely LOVE the favors, they are so perfect! Thank you for all of your help during this process, it has been really fun working with you. I can’t wait to celebrate and hand them out on Saturday!”
- Erica E.

“Can I just say that you have been one of the nicest “vendors” that I have worked with. Always pleasant and always communicating. Thank you so much, you have taken a lot of stress away.”
- Rhonda B.

“I never thought last week that this was possible. You are a lifesaver. You answered our prayers and we all appreciate your kindness.”   (Note:  Grandma canned the original wedding favors in June, only to find in the fall –  just a week before the wedding – the jars were never sealed properly, and the jam had molded…)
- Pam G.

“I just wanted you to know that Emerald and I both received your jam and we both LOVED it!!! My husband loved it too and so did my son, Emerald’s fiancé. It is delicious! You have a wonderful product! Can’t wait to give this to our guests!”
- Laurie W.

Our "Storybook Love" label.

Yes, we offer both 8 and 4 ounce jars, and our newest member of the family is Pumpkin Butter!

Before buying Pumpkin Butter from a small cannery (or ANY jams, for that matter), make sure that they are actually processing the butter, and testing it constantly for pH using digital meters. Pumpkin Butter is nearly impossible to can safely without the technology to ensure the acid is high enough for safety. Remember that the jar may be cute as can be, but the real test in quality is when you eat it! Be safe: ask your cannery lots of safety questions!

I would love to get a product brochure. We are getting married up in Toledo, Ohio on 7-5-14 and are looking for about 200-225 favors. We were wondering about various sizes, potentially 1oz-4oz if you offer. Shipping estimant would also be appreciated but there is a possibility of pickup.

    • Sonya October 3, 2013 at 11:01 am Reply

Hi Jordan, I’m emailing you the brochure. The smallest size we offer is 4 oz. Our jars are actually thermally canned, not just an “open kettle” method of flipping upside down, so you are assured the safest preserves with the best flavor (because we won’t use pectin!)

Hi! We are getting married on 11/23/13 in Charleston, SC and love the idea of Pumpkin Butter as our Wedding favors. Our Wedding is a Plantation/Vintage theme, colors are grey, coral, peach, green. Can you provide pricing for 1.5 or 2 oz jars of Pumpkin Butter. We would need anywhere from 120-150 jars. Thanks!

    • Sonya June 20, 2013 at 12:33 pm Reply

Oh, Lauren, I have so much to say about Pumpkin Butter as wedding favors! Pumpkin has a very high pH, which means that unlike berries or stone fruits, it has very little acid, and is VERY difficult to can safely. In our cannery, we have invested in all the best digital meters to continually test the butter as we stir, season, and can it. What bride wants their guests to become ill or disgusted by eating butter gone bad? If you want a creamy, rich Pumpkin Butter seasoned with brown sugar and cinnamon, but safely canned, you’ve come to the right place! Thanks for asking!

    • Sonya June 2, 2013 at 3:27 pm Reply

Wendy, hi! I sent the pricing information. You’ll see that we have a generous reduction in prices for 8 oz. jars, but have a flat rate for 4 oz. because the glass for both size jars costs exactly the same, and the labor, too. I hope this helps! Enjoy your engagement!

Erin, your wedding brochure is in the (e)mail! Thanks for asking and sorry it took me a few days to reply. I get a ton of spam that I have to sort through, but it’s nice to find a gem like your note in it!

    Hi!

I am getting married in September and originally wanted to make my own jams, but am thinking it might be better to buy them.

What would be the cost for 100 jams? We are paying for our weddding and trying to keep total wedding costs low, so what type of fruit would you recommend?

Melissa and Krystle, your wedding brochure and sample labels are on the way! And Melissa, you’ll see the tier of pricing in the brochure. If you keep the jam simple (i.e., Strawberry, Blackberry, Peach) you’ll be able to save a quarter a jar! But if you want to “spice it up a little”, we can add liqueurs or create a more complex, multi-layered jam. Thanks for your questions, ladies!

If the pricing is different from jams, can I also get the pricing information for apple butter and pumpkin butter?

I’m interested in getting jam favors for a wedding this fall, can I have the pricing info for the 4oz jars? Not sure if there are any smaller jar options. Looking for about 200-250 jars. Thank you!

Hi Sarah! I’m emailing you our detailed wedding brochure that list all the jam varieties that we have available in 4 oz. jars. That is the smallest jar that we make, and the pricing includes your customized labeling!

Hello! I am very interested in getting 100-125 jars of your jelly for my May 31,2014 wedding. I see you have 4 oz jars available. Are they the squat or the taller 4oz jars? Also was wondering what the price would be as well as how much shipping would cost to Pennsylvania. If you have a brochure that would work perfectly. Thanks so much.

My daughter is getting married June 15th. She would like to give peach jam as wedding favors. We would need 300 to 400 jars.

How much would it cost for grape jam 2 oz jars shipped to Massachusetts for a wedding favor about 150 jars needed? Thank you

    • Sonya February 12, 2013 at 12:51 pm Reply

Hi Kristen – just sent you our bridal brochure through email. We don’t make grape jam or can in 2 ounce jars, unfortunately. Thanks for your inquiry!

Can you tell me how much it would run for the 1/2 pints to put in guest bags for our wedding guests? 25 guests with custom-labeled jars? Christmas Jam preferable.
    Thanks so much!!

Hi Donna! Using our special we have running right now, it would be $185.50 if paid in cash or check. We can also avoid shipping charges, which would start at $25. If you are looking for a smaller jar, please email me – sonya@jamandjellylady.com, and I can send you back 4 oz. jar prices. Thanks!
